About Destination
Hamta Pass is a small corridor between Lahaul’s Chandra Valley and the Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh. The nomenclature of the trek was derived from Hamta Village located below Sethan village, as part of the trek route and is used by shepherds often. The variation in its trails is enormous; beautiful landscapes, open green pastures, meadows and glacial valleys. In front of you lay the mighty Indrasen and Deo Tibba and below you on the other side are Lahaul Valley.

-
From the bottom trek to Shea Goru is an easy flat walk and will take a couple of hours to reach.

Overnight stay in camps.
- Today's trek is the easiest of all as we have to descend all the way to Chattru. We start by crossing the icy cold Sheagoru river and continue the trek on the right side of the river. After about one hour, we start seeing the road. It takes around 3 hours to reach Chattru. Relax and have lunch at the Chattru campsite. I have been on multiple solo trips but nothing comes to the kind of bond I formed with people on this trip. The trip captain was super chill and fun. The landscapes were amazing. It’s quite difficult to choose a fav part of this trip but if i had to I would definitely pick the Kaza homestay. It made us all feel like home away from home. Aunty uncle were so sweet and the food was delicious. Apart from this, we experienced snowfall at Chicham bridge which was an absolute joy for us. Overall it was an amazing week filled with beautiful views and great company. Thanks team pickyourtrips to organising this kind of trips

Best trip I’d been to , our trip leader was very professional, and also he helped us in every possible way, he was making sure that we enjoyed our trip to the fullest. All kudos to him and all team of Pickyourtrips for the best experience one could ever have.I will recommend PYT not just because of the trip leaders, but for the best accommodations they book, really worth the money. I’d been to kedarnath with them and tremendous experience! It’s a great experience with them, thinking to cover my most of the trips with them only. Also if you are looking for booking something through PYT.
